Great Schools has announced the full launch of the GreatKids State Test Guide for Parents, a free, online tool organized by grade and subject to help parents use their state test scores to support their kids at home. The Guide helps provide specific, actionable information for parents, customized to the grade level of their children and described relative to the sections of the tests. It is available in English and Spanish for grades 3-8. To learn more, and use the guide, visit www.statetestguide.org.
Parents -- Students in Grades 9-12 will have available to them a notebook computer for all student needs. If you choose to purchase your own, here are a few specs to keep in mind: 11.6" diagonal screen--minimum, 4gb RAM with 64GB SSD drive minimum, integrated webcam, and Windows 10 operating system. If you choose to purchase your own device for your child, also remember to consider a protective case or "sleeve". Contact Mr. Opdahl if you have questions.
