LHS FBLA members attending the 2023 FBLA National Leadership Conference included: Libbie McDonald, Jackie Juarez, Sadie Aamodt, Mercedes Hoverson, Haydens Sand, Brison Falch, Levi Warnke, Emma Christensen, Mariah Hoverson and Julianna Ostrem. Julie Pearce, FBLA Adviser accompanied the members to the 2023 FBLA NLC. LHS FBLA members Hayden Sands and Emma Christensen brought home awards from competitive events at the National Leadership Conference. Hayden competed in the High School Division and earned 9th Place Award in Accounting II. Emma competed in the Middle Level Division and earned the 4th Place Award in Learning Strategies.
Our ten members attending the NLC participated in General Sessions. Regional Meetings, Workshops. competitive events or competitive performances and visited booths in the Expo Hall. In their free time, they toured the The Coca Cola Museum, The Georgia Aquarium and Six Flags. Members had an experience with travel delays and learned how to use the self-serve for luggage tags and boarding passes. Many memories were made and connections with FBLA members from around the United States and other countries.
