What a wonderful way to end the school year! Students displayed their art work that they created throughout the year AND had a wax museum hour. The final project was to create an original piece of art in the style of an artist of their choice, dress up as that artist, complete a 500 word artist statement, AND 5 facts sheet. When you pushed their “button” they would tell you a fact about themselves (the artist). We had 418 pieces of Art displayed and were missing some junior high pieces. Many students sold their work, as well as prints that will be delivered this week. Congratulations on all the amazing work and for all students who received awards throughout the year. Thank you to the Polar Bear Booster Club for the donation to help fund the NOTA trophies.
